Dry Falls Moody Sunrise Panorama Framed Print

This framed version of the Dry Falls Moody Sunrise Panorama print is developed using the same incredibly sharp and detail-rich ultraHD Fuji Crystal Professional Archive Maxima paper as my regular photo prints but mounted in a sophisticated, real wood frame with a natural white passe-partout to draw attention to the image without overpowering it. The print is then sealed behind glossy float glass for maximum longevity.

All framed prints include built-in wall mounts. Note that the wall mounts may change slightly depending on size, so they may not look exactly as pictured.

I rolled out of bed (my SUV in this particular case) without even being caffeinated yet to make sure I caught this location at sunrise!

At first, the cloud cover seemed too thick, and just as I was beginning to worry that I slept uncomfortably in my vehicle for no reason, the sun broke through under the clouds at the southeast edge of the coulee. Suddenly, the scramble was on to get everything captured in time!

I HAD to go panoramic with this image in an attempt to even begin to do this location justice. When you stand at the edge and look down, your brain can’t quite grasp how immense this spot is, your eyes have a bit of trouble figuring out where to focus, and it makes you a bit dizzy at first.

To give you a sense of the scale, I later ventured down into the valley to explore for a while after the sun finished rising. It took me just under 15 minutes to drive down a dirt road from the right side of this image to the lake on the left side. From the vantage point where I captured this image to the other side is approximately 3.5 miles.

Ultimately, it took 17 images to put together this wide view. And a nap, of course ;)

The glass that protects this image can be a bit reflective, so this image will work best in locations where harsh light isn’t hitting it directly and creating a glare.

If the spot you have in mind for this image is a harsh lighting location, I do have a matte version of this print on metal that would likely work better.
