If you've explored the personal or professional development space at all, productivity seems to always be one of those top 10 topics that we all care about.

And this is not just a product of the industrial age - which brought with it a kind of productivity optimization disease - but humans have cared about productivity for thousands of years - it's a universal theme in every ancient philosophy - it's in our nature to care about it. But it's also easy to feel like everyone is awesome at it except for you.

If you spend even 5 minutes doing an internet search on topics like "how to be more productive", you'll find that it tends to be a bunch of low hanging fruit - the same rehashed points over and over - and while I do think there's definitely value to be gleaned in much of this advice, I wanted to try to take a little bit of a different approach in this video.

So today, I wanted to share 7 productivity tips that have worked for me at various points over the years but that may not seem obvious or intuitive at first. Hopefully, at least one of these tips will be new for you and help you think about productivity a little bit differently.
